Easter Sunday

I'm so thankful for Easter and the meaning behind it all. It gives me hope and a reminder of a new beginning. I'm thankful for the beautiful weather that truly lifts my soul. It brings me pure joy to know that my family and I will all be reunited in perfect form in body and in spirit and be together for eternity after death on earth. I couldn't imagine it any other way. What a powerful gift! I love my Savior, Jesus Christ and am forever thankful for His Resurrection. He is my brother and I love Him. I wish that everyone knew the reason of Easter. It comforts my worst fears. We had a lovely day!

We enjoyed our day with the blessing of my new niece, Victoria Mary Catherine Peterson. She is absolutely darling. She makes me so very baby hungry. She is perfect in every way! Charlie and Danielle are beaming and really great parents. After the blessing, we went on a Sunday drive and headed home. After naps, we had the best evening having another egg hunt with Grandma and Grandpa Bennion. They spoil us rotten!

I love my family...

Egg hunt by the temple. Seriously beautiful...

 Just hangin...

These pictures describe these 5 together perfectly. ALWAYS laughing and having such a great time! Caleb used to talk about Grandpa John constantly, but has recently changed his obsession to Grandma Julia. Sorry John...

We love all of our grandparents! What a great holiday!

Easter Saturday

What a great couple of days full of fun and sunshine! Just what we have been waiting for! We spent Thursday dying eggs and Friday, Bud took Claire and Caleb to the cabin to sled, to Park City and to the zoo. I stayed behind with Janie because she had a fever. On Saturday, we spent our morning doing egg hunts, ate lunch with Caitlin, Dody and Curt and spent the evening with friends riding the Heber Creeper with the Easter Bunny! A perfect spring weekend!

Dying eggs...

 Our family Easter hunt...

Claire was not happy that she didn't have any of the basket in front of her...
 Much better...
 Sweet as pie...

I bought the kids plastic recorders. Buddy hates them. Mwah hahahahaha....
The neighborhood egg hunt. Claire, Caleb and I helped package over a thousand eggs for this!...

And we met the Easter Bunny...
Next up... The Heber Creeper with the Tripps and VanDykes...

And a petting zoo to finish off the day...

Check out my very cute boys...

We love to celebrate the Easter Bunny side of Easter on the Saturday before, so we can focus on the true meaning of Easter on Sunday.
