Claire's 5th Birthday!

She had the best day! We didn't originally plan on getting her a scooter, but just a few days before her birthday, we saw a shooting star. I told her to make a wish and she told it to me. She said that she wished for a scooter for her birthday! YIKES! I say you should tell your wishes to people! They are more likely to come true. When she opened her present she said, "It's not a motor-scooter, but I still really love it!" She hasn't put it down since. Here are some cute pictures of her on her 5th birthday...

If you know Claire at all, you know she is constantly doing cartwheels. She does them around the house, in parking lots, at the grocery store, you name it. She does at least 200 cart wheels a day! No exaggeration! She has just about perfected them...
 And a one-handed cartwheel too...
She also loves to do hand-stands. She especially loves when you'll hold her feet up while she does a push-up.
She is quite the little gymnast. She's just taking lessons in a girl's basement for now. We're debating putting her in a bit more professional place. She absolutely loves it! She doesn't want to go back to dance.
So grown up. She's so beautiful inside and out...

 Her giggle is so contagious!
 She loves to pose...

Grandma and Grandpa Bennion got her these roller-blades. It was hysterical watching how to learn to ride them! The whole get-up is just awesome...
This year, we let her choose if she wanted to have a party with her friends or have a special date with Mom and Dad. She picked a date with us. She wanted to go to Cafe Rio (she eats half of an entire salad) and then we went to "her" store (Claire's) and got her ears pierced. She was terrified at first, but as soon as she pierced a little bear's ears, she was good to go.
They did both ears at the same time. As soon as they went in, Claire just sat there for about 4 seconds and was silent. Then, she said, "That hurt" and burst into tears. It was so sad and cute!
Poor baby, but she looks adorable...

 Birthday cake makes everything better!...
I cannot believe my baby is 5!
As soon as we got home, Claire rushed over to show her best friend, Violet her new earrings. Then Violet came over and gave her her very first "Best Friends" necklace. Too dang cute! I love these girls!

Claire also went and got her first pedicure with her friend, Jossie Pedersen. She was in heaven. She was completely spoiled rotten. It's going to be a great year! I love my little Claire Bear so so much.
